The Australian Institute of Architects Architecture Awards recognise excellence and innovation in design. Awards are conferred via a rigorous system of peer review unrivalled by other architectural design awards.
The process commences with each entrant giving a presentation to jury. Each category is presided over by a three person jury. After Presentation to Juries, short lists are compiled and site visits to the short listed projects follow. Jury members are Institute members appointed and convened by the Institute’s Victorian Chapter Awards Taskforce.
In 2013 there are 240 projects entered into the Victorian Architecture Awards.
Presentations to Juries are scheduled over two days on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March.
